• Experience with fastpitch softball either as a player and/or a coach required
• USA Softball background check required
• Must be able to communicate effectively with players, families, and SFC board members

• SafeSport required
• ACE certification required for head coaches

We offer volunteer coaching opportunities for high school softball players who would like to inspire the next generation of softball players. 

As an assistant coach you will work with the head coach to:

• Demonstrate and run both defensive and offensive drills
• Work with athletes one-on-one to help reinforce fundamentals
• Introduce new ideas and drills to further player skills development

You will be able to work with one team consistently to develop trust and team leadership. Opportunities are available at all age levels. A positive attitude is required. Must be able to communicate effectively with the head coach. The head coach will sign/approve your service hour documentation.
