Introducing 10U SFC Warriors 

SFC is excited to bring the noise in the 10U division with a new team. Introducing SFC Warriors coached by softball player, Allegra Quiban.  

We look forward to meeting all 10U players at tryouts August 3, 4, and 10. Go SFC! 

About Coach Allegra

I’m Allegra Quiban and I LOVE softball!  I played for 14 years, starting with T-Ball in Little League through Juniors. For many of those years I played on 2 teams each season; Little League and select/club ball and High School ball and club ball.

I started playing club ball with Seattle Fastpitch Club (SFC) at the 12U level.  I went on to play 4 years with Seattle Spice, then Northwest Lady Bandits and finishing off with the Mosquito Squad. 

Growing up, softball was my passion; I played it, I watched it and I coached it. From early on I have enjoyed working with younger players, coaching and mentoring them, even when there was only a few years difference in our ages. I always knew that once I stopped playing I would stay involved by continuing to work with and coach players. I enjoy sharing my love of the sport as I help young girls develop their skills and further their knowledge on the strategic aspects of the game.  I share my personal experiences with the hope that they could see all the benefits that this sport brings to a player’s life both on and off the field.  I have been very fortunate to have had coaches that were truly amazing in their coaching styles not only in how they developed players’ skills, but also in helping young ladies to develop as good students and good people.  I’ve taken a lot from those coaches in how I approach working with and mentoring players. I’ve also experienced not such positive coaching and from those scenarios I take the lesson of what type of coach I absolutely won’t be.  

I very much look forward to working with SFC’s young players as they develop their softball skills, learning how to be a positive contributing team member and that they know each of them is a valued member and appreciated for all that they bring to the team.  I will ensure all of this while they have a lot of fun and grow their love for the game.
