Volunteer Opportunities with SFC

Coach for SFC

Seattle Fastpitch Club is seeking coaches for the 2022-2023 season for our 14U age division.

Experience with fastpitch softball either as a player and/or a coach required. Background check also required. Must be able to communicate effectively with players, families, and SFC board members.

In your role, you will become USA Softball ACE certified and take SafeSport training. We also offer a coaches stipend and support with travel costs. 

As a part of SFC we will support your personal coaching growth by providing training opportunities throughout the season. We also encourage club members to give back to their local communities through our SFC Cares program, sharing with others the skills and knowledge gained while participating in club activities.

Volunteer High School and College Assistant Coach Positions 

We offer volunteer coaching opportunities for high school and college softball players who would like to inspire the next generation of softball players. 

As an assistant coach you will work with the head coach to:

  • Demonstrate and run both defensive and offensive drills
  • Work with athletes one-on-one to help reinforce fundamentals
  • Introduce new ideas and drills to further player skills development

You will be able to work with one team consistently to develop trust and team leadership. Opportunities are available at all age levels. A positive attitude is required. Must be able to communicate effectively with the head coach. The head coach will sign/approve your service hour documentation.
